The PA launched the ‘Seniors for Smart Nation’ programme with its key mission to prepare seniors to be smart nation ready, allowing a seamless integration into the community and enhancing their quality of life. Currently, 50 Community Clubs (CCs) island-wide have been identified to offer ‘Seniors for Smart Nation’ courses.

The Silver IT Fest IT classes offer seniors the opportunity to learn more IT skills and pick up new hobbies. Seniors can learn how to
use a basic computer, send e-mails, check on health information, social networking, e-travel and many more!
Conducted in the four official languages, the IT classes have been a hit among seniors since it was launched 10 years ago.
The classes are taught by seniors and volunteers from the Friends of Silver Infocomm (FSI), who will pace the class comfortably to suit
the seniors’ learning needs.
